A man has confessed to shooting another man in self-defense after Mobile County Sheriff's deputies found the victim suffering from two gunshot wounds in a vehicle located on Highway 43 in Mount Vernon.

When detectives returned to the scene they were met by 25-year-old Michael Johnson who confessed to shooting Miller, claiming it was in self-defense, according to Myles.
Detectives found empty shell casings in Johnson's front yard, as well as a loaded Springfield XD magazine.
