NC: Soldier found Justified in Shooting Death
A Fort Bragg soldier was found not guilty of voluntary manslaughter last week in the May 2012 shooting death of her neighbor.
Gracie Ramirez, 37, had been accused of shooting Jerry Dale Martin Jr., 23, in his front yard on Mawood Avenue, off Camp Ground Road, on the evening of May 12. Martin died of the gunshot wound to his stomach at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center that night.
