New Orleans police were questioning a Milan neighborhood homeowner
after they said he shot a 40-year-old man multiple times Tuesday
afternoon (June 30) outside his house. The homeowner's wife, who asked
that her name not be released, said at the scene that
her husband thought the man was a burglar when they arrived at their
unoccupied house in the 2100 block of Louisiana Avenue.
