NM: Homeowner Shoots at Suspects

On October 1, 2015 The Clovis Police Department Dispatch Center received phone calls stating there were gunshots in the 1300 block of Arciniega.

The caller said one suspect was last seen running north along the east side of Goodwin Lake Trails. A second suspect left in a pickup that was ultimately stolen from Tucumcari. Police report the witness confronted the suspect who had entered the neighbor’s home. The witness fired shots at the pickup as it placed the witness's life in danger. Both suspects left the area.
